SUMMER ORGAN CONCERT SERIES
The first of the 2006 concert series will be on Tuesday 27th, at 8.00pm in the Church of the Assumption. It features the Drogheda Male Voice Choir, with Gerard Gillen on the organ.

ARE WE A PEOPLE OF FAITH?
When we listen to today's Gospel, we are reassured that Jesus is in control. We are all in need of this reassurance day by day, as we confront the storms of health worries, drug or alcohol abuse, despair, anxiety, loneliness and many others.
We could indeed re-echo the cry of the disciples in today's Gospel:
"Master do you not care? We are going down". (Mark 4:38)
He still challenges us to call on him, to have faith in him.
He answers: "Quiet. Be still". V.39
He is as present in the Church's struggle today as he was on the boat with the disciples, and its survival is assured by having a deeper faith rather than a bigger boat.
Just remember, God is never in a hurry, but he is always on time!
