The End or the Beginning!

The Ascension completes the mission of Jesus - it is the last act in His Life, Death and Resurrection.  It celebrates His return to His Father.  It is also the beginning of a different time for the Apostles who will have to live without the Jesus they knew.

Jesus is sitting at the right hand of His Father but He is also here, working through us who believe His promise that He is with us always.  We can be like the Apostles after the Ascension of Jesus - we can announce with confidence the Good News that the human spirit cannot be enclosed in a tomb and will always rise again.

Collections:

 Tullamore: €4200
Durrow: €194
  Envelopes: €1590
 Thank you.

Please continue to pray for Fiona Pender ,

God never built a person strong enough
to carry today's duties and tomorrow's
anxieties piled on top of them.
