 A Tale of a Whale!

The Story of Jonah holds out hope for all of us.

It is a story in which everyone repents: Jonah himself, the people of Nineveh, even God.

The good news is that by choosing to repent, we can change our lives.  Repentance is good news because it means that nothing is signed, sealed and delivered.  Things CAN change.  If God can begin again, so we, too, can begin again, and again and again.

That is Gospel.  That is Good News!  Repentance doesn't have to mean that we lose all our enjoyment of life.  As Jonah found out for himself, you can still have a whale of a time!

Don't wait for people to be friendly,
show them how.
