Alpha an opportunity to explore the meaning of life
Commencing Thursday 14th at 8.00pm, four Tullamore churches will be starting a new venture called the Alpha Course, in Dempsey's Bar, High St. The Alpha Course is a relaxed, informal and easy going way of
discussing the big questions in life, "who am I? Is there any purpose in life?"
The free 11-week course focuses on the teachings of Jesus
and looks at the evidence for who Jesus is and what he taught.
Participants meet weekly and listen to a talk - either live or on DVD - and
then break into small groups to discuss it and questions arising from it.
