VOCATIONS SUNDAY
7th May '06 is Vocations Sunday. At present there are six students studying for the priesthood from our diocese, three in Maynooth & three in Rome. The collection today will go towards the support of all students studying for the priesthood for the diocese.

THE CALL
The message of the Gospel today, is the call extended to be God's children.
The Good Shepherd cares for us, protects and loves us unconditionally. We are called to allow our lives to be transformed by his love. When that love thrives in a Christian community, many will find rich ground where their individual vocations can grow.
We pray today that people will hear the call to take up a more active role to serve, whether as a single person, married, religious or priest and that those who hear the call will have the courage to respond.
