TROCAIRE
The Pope's Lenten message this year reminds us that in this rapidly changing world our responsibility towards the poor emerges with ever-greater clarity and urgency. Our wish to help the poor and the voiceless during lent is a sign that of our solidarity and putting the Papal message into action. One way to do this is by supporting the Trocaire Lenten campaign so that the young people can be given a future and no longer have to go out to work. We are helping to give hope to these communities and the message that a brighter future is possible.
"Lord help me to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with you, my God.
Today is the 1st Anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II. We remember him in our prayers and thank God for his great service to the Church throughout his life, but especially in his long pontificate. We include a special prayer for him in our Prayer of the Faithful at all Masses on Sunday, 2nd April 2006.

come up with reasons why you
can't do what you dream to do.
Ignore them!
A NEW HEART
How right this line from the Psalm is for Lent:
"A pure heart create for me, O God". (Ps 50:10)
And what a promise from the Lord when He says:
"... I will write my Law on their hearts" and "... I will remember
their sins no more". (Jer 31:33-34)
Do you trust this promise?
If we say yes, then we need to let go or sacrifice our self-will for the sake of God's will. In so doing, we give Him ourselves
We let go and let God.
We become givers and channels of new life for others.
We carry the message of hope and the resurrection within us.
Let us be the bearers of His promise!
