No Pockets in a Shroud

The old people used to that, and how wise they were.
We pass through this life but once.  We are given great gifts on loan from God to be used for the good of all.  How alien then is greed and power?  We have to choose between wealth and the true God.  We cannot serve both.
At the end of our days we take nothing with us but our good name and our efforts to live the Gospel message as faithfully as we could, given the gifts that were entrusted to us.

"You cannot be the slave of both God and money".
 Lk 16:13.

Turn to God for help in shaping your life - by prayer he will bring peace to the humblest.
