CHRIST IS OUR LIFE
Sunday's scripture readings guide us towards getting our priorities right in life.
St Paul tells us that our true life is with Christ in god: Christ is our life.
Greed, the accumulation of excessive worldly goods or wealth beyond our needs, is the same thing as worshipping a false god.
What does it profit a person if he/she gains the whole world and loses his/her soul.
Life on earth is relatively short compared with eternity. Therefore, it is foolish to place undue emphasis on world possessions, instead of endeavouring to make ourselves rich in the sight of God.
