The Corpus Christi Procession will make a welcome return on Saturday 18th June after the 6.30 pm Vigil Mass.  More details later.

FIRST COMMUNION

Congratulations to the children from Durrow NS who received the Eucharist for the first time last Thursday.  We wish God’s blessing on them, their families and teachers and all who helped them on their faith journey at this special time.

ST. PADRE PIO MASS

St. Padre Pio Mass will be celebrated on Tues. 14th. June at 7.30pm in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore.  All are welcome.

CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION

Our Corpus Christi Procession will make a welcome return on Saturday next, 19th, after 6.30pm Mass (weather permitting).  The procession will take the route leaving Church grounds from Store St, St. Brigid’s Place, Convent Rd, Colmcille St, Harbour St. and will end with Benediction in the grounds of the Church of the Assumption.  All parishioners are encouraged to take part in this joyful public celebration of the Eucharist.

HOLY HOUR FOR VOCATIONS

Holy Hour for Vocations on Friday 17th at 7.00pm in Tullamore Church, with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.We will reflect on the example of the Priesthood after the Heart of Christ, in this month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Speaker will be Mark Caffrey, a student for the Priesthood for our Diocese.

UNIVERSAL SYNOD 2021-2023

Following the engagement by so many people across the Diocese, the diocesan synthesis has been completed and will now be submitted to the National Steering Committee.  The synthesis can be viewed on www.dioceseofmeath.ie from Wednesday 1st June.       

Thanks to all who took part in the synodal conversations during Lent and to all who completed questionnaires and made submissions.  Thanks to all priests and facilitators who organised the synodal meetings in each deanery.     

As we approach the Feast of Pentecost, let us ask the Holy Spirit: “Teach us the way we must go, and how we are to pursue it”.

 PARISH CENTRE 

Tea and coffee will be served in the Parish Centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting on Monday 30th. May after 10.00 am Mass. 

DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET

DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET will continue to be recited BEFORE Saturday Shared Masses starting at 9.25am and followed by rosary. All welcome.

As and from Monday 28th February 2022, the Church barrier will be open only from 7.00am until 11.30am to facilitate Mass goers.

BAPTISM: Please contact the parish secretary. Baptisms take place monthly on the first Sunday in Tullamore, second Sunday in Durrow, third and fourth Saturday in Tullamore.

CONFESSIONS: Saturday 2.00-3.00pm in the Day Chapel.
