Prayer of St John Henry Newman
May the Lord support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen and the
evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over
and our work is done. Then in His love and mercy may he give us and all our
beloved a safe lodging, a holy rest and peace at the last. Amen.

DURROW CEMETERY DAY

Today (Sun. 13th.) we would have been remembering our dead and their families with the Blessing of Graves taking place in Durrow Cemetery.  However it was not meant to be.  So today, in our own special way, we remember all of our loved ones gone before us.  We remember too, all those who have no one to pray for them.

Norman Allred

REV NORMAN ALLRED

We remember in our prayers, Rev Norman Allred, who will be ordained a priest for our diocese on Sunday next, 20th, at 3.00pm in Mullingar Cathedral.  During his time of study, Norman spent his holiday breaks in Tullamore and he has built up many contacts with parishioners here.  We wish him every blessing. A limited number of tickets for his Ordination and his first Mass on Tuesday 22nd at 7pm also in Mullingar are available from the Parish Centre.

CHARITABLE DONATIONS - CHY4 CERTS

All parishioners who donated €250 or more to the parish in 2019 have been sent a CHY4 cert.  When you sign and return it to us we will be able to seek a tax refund of approximately 45% of the total donated.  Thank you to all who have signed and returned their certs and we would appeal to all parishioners to return them as soon as possible.  If you have mislaid your cert and would like a new one issued, please contact Noeleen, the Parish Secretary.
