A prayer at this time of coronavirus

Jesus Christ, you are our refuge from one generation to the next.

Come to our aid now, in the midst of the global spread of this virus,
that we may experience your healing presence.

Heal those who are sick with the virus.

Heal us from our fear and worry.

Stay by our side in this time of uncertainty.

Be with those who have died. May they be at rest in your eternal peace.

Be with the doctors, nurses, researchers and all medical professionals.
May they know your inspiring presence.

Be with us that we may act with care.

Be with the leaders and those who have responsibilities. Give them the wisdom and insight to make good decisions.

Be with us in our time of need, calm our anxieties
and bring Your healing and peace.

Amen.

MAINTAINING PARISH FINANCES

In Tullamore, as in every parish, our income has been almost obliterated. We have made big cutbacks in spending and wages but we still have to run the parish and we have financial responsibilities to those employed. POPE'S BLESSING

Pope Francis will give a special blessing to the world on Friday 27th. Mar. at 5:00 p.m. The blessing will be televised live on RTE News Now channel.

COVID-19 SUPPORT LINE FOR OLDER PEOPLE

ALONE has launched a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Professional staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassurance where necessary. The support line is open Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm, by calling 0818 222 024. Hours may be extended to meet the demand.

DURROW SHARED MASS

The shared Mass scheduled for Durrow has been swithced to Tullamore Church on Sat. 4th. April at 6:30 p.m. You can join in via the live webcam on this Website.

RELIGIOUS SERVICES ON RTE

Mon-Fri, 10:30 am, RTÉ News Now broadcasts Mass from Letterkenny. RTÉ News Now can be received on Saorview channel 21; Virgin Media 200; Sky 521; Eir 500 and on the RTÉ News Now App.

BAPTISMS

The next available Baptism dates are Sat. 18th., Sat. 25th. April & Sun. 3rd. May in Tullamore & Sun. 10th. May in Durrow. The pre-baptism meeting for these dates is on Wed. 15th. April. To book in for the meeting and baptisms, contact the Parish Secretary, at the Parish Office, Mon. - Fri., 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
