My Lord Jesus Christ, for the sake of Thy sufferings,
Grant me such faith, hope, charity, sorrow for my sins,
And love of prayer as will save and sanctify my soul.   Amen.
Lucky Goal

A youth festival takes place each year in Medjugorje, where last year 60,000 young people attended. Nine young people from the Tullamore parish expressed an interest in attending this years festival in August. To help fund the cost the J.P.P.C took on the task of raising money to help lower the cost to their families. This was done by what is called "Lucky First Goal" The Offaly v Westmeath Leinster Senior Quarter Final was the match chosen. Lots of scratch cards were sold for the match and over €3000 was raised with very generous donations also given from people of the parish who wished to remain anonymous. The J.P.P.C would like to thank everyone for their support.

Mark Berry was the holder of the card which predicted that no goal would be scored. Above, Mark is presented with €500 prize money by Annette Evans on behalf of the Tullamore Junior Parish Pastoral Council.

The annual event begins with "A Seductive Combo", in the Church of the Assumption, on Tues. 4th. July at 8:00 p.m. The series continues for a total of 4 weeks. <Click Here> for details. Tickets available at the door.
