- A First Communion Prayer -
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
I believe it because you have said it and I’m ready
To give my life to maintain this truth.

Communion Confirmation

Congratulations to the children from Scoil Mhuire who received the Eucharist for the first time last Sunday.  We wish God’s blessing on them, their families, friends and teachers and all who helped them on their faith journey to this special time. Also, Congratulations to our young people who celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation this weekend.  Thank you to the parents, teachers and schools for their work in preparing the candidates and for their help in making the Sacrament so special.  Thank you also to those who helped out in the Church.
The next Night Fever will take place on Saturday 20th.  There will be an hour of Adoration for its success on Wednesday 17th at 8.00pm in the Parish Centre.
Over the last 18 months, including this week, there have been a large number of funerals in the parish.  This has had a knock on effect on Month’s Memory and First Anniversary Masses. Both of these are important moments in grief. In order to avoid causing families undue stress, having to wait months to mark these moments, fromthe first weekend in June two intentions will be combined on Saturday night and 11.30am and 1.00pm Sunday Masses. This applies only to Months Memories and First anniversaries. Both families will be facilitated at the Offertory, ie four gifts will be brought forward.

Seminars continuing Wed 17th, at 7:45 pm, in the Day Chapel. Guest speakers every week. All are welcome.

The next available Baptism dates are Sat 20th, Sat 27th May & Sat 17th June in Tullamore and Sun 11th June in Durrow. The pre-baptism meeting for this date is on Wed 17th. May. To book in for the meeting and baptisms, contact the Parish Secretary, at the Parish Office, Mon-Fri, 9.30am-5pm.
