The farming community put on a marvellous display of cereals, fruit, vegetables and all the other "fruits of the earth" in the sanctuary last wekend as a way of reminding us to thank God for all the wonderful gifts He has given us. GROW Community Mental Health Movement will hold a Community education Programme for five Thursdays starting at 7:30 p.m. on 27th October in the Central Hotel, Main Street.  The course is free and all are welcome.  Topics are: Understanding & Promoting Positive Mental Health, Mindfulness, Managing Stress & Anxiety, Suicide Awareness & Prevention and How GROW Works.  Contact Assumpta 086 8114135 or come on the night.
The Parish Operation Transformation, in association with Edgewater Medical Centre, kicks off on Sunday November 6th, for six weeks finishing on December 11th. Weigh-ins take place on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. until after the 1:00 p.m. Mass. Weekly weigh-ins, meal plans and exercise tips cost €100.00. To register, call 057-9321587.
Tullamore Parish will present a Christmas Carol Festival featuring the Meath Diocesan Choir supported by the Sacred Heart School Choir, the Durrow Church Choir and Scoil Bhride Boys Choir in the Church of the Assumption on Sunday 4th. Dec. at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available from the Parish Centre or any member of the finance committee at €10.00 (Adult) €6.00 (Student) and children under 14 Free.

Have you encountered any talented buskers when visiting Dublin? Well, Dublin City Council believe that many successful performers began their career busking on the streets and organised a "Busker Fleadh" recently to provide an opportunity for new entertainers to showcase their talent. The group meets in the Presbyterian Church, High St., every Wednesday evening at 7:45 p.m. since July 20th. All Welcome.
Father Liam Lawton will be the the main performer in a concert which will take place in St. James' Church, Kilbeggan on Sunday 23rd. Oct. He will be supported by Kilbeggan and Rahugh church choirs. Proceeds from the concert will go towards the St. James' Church restoration fund. Doors open at 7.30 p.m.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated in Polish at 2.30pm in the Church of the Assumption on the 4th Sunday of every month.

The next available Baptism dates are Sat. 19th. Nov., Sat. 26th. Nov. & Sun. 4th. Dec. in Tullamore & Sun 11th. Dec. in Durrow. The pre-baptism meeting for these dates is on Wed. 16th. Nov. There will also be Baptism in Tullamore on Sat. 17th. Dec.

One should bear the religious celebrations in Fátima in mind when planning a trip TO Fatima. If one wants to experience these at their height and share them with hundreds of thousands of pilgrims, there are especially two important dates to consider: those of the first and of the final apparition, the thirteenth of respectively May and October.
