Gracious Father, help me to see the truth as Thou hast made it, 
And may I not be indifferent to the beauty and patience of the earth's revelations. 
May I not mistake indolence for patient ambition, which I would have for anxious hours, 
And which I need for my heart's desires. Amen.


Our mission in honour of St. Therese will be conducted from Monday 21st. to Saturday 26th. of Sept. at 10.00 a.m.and 7.30 p.m. daily.
The theme for the week is "PLACES OF PILGRIMAGE – OUR JOURNEY OF FAITH" and will focus on:
Monday:     Lough Derg – Prayer & Penance
Tuesday:      Knock – The Shrine of the Lamb
Wednesday: Rome – City of Peter & Paul
Thursday:     Lourdes – a Mother’s Care
Friday:    Jerusalem – The City of our Salvation
Saturday:     Santiago de Compostela – The Walk of Faith

The J Unit for 11 to 18 year olds, returns tonight, Sunday 13th, from 7.00-8.15pm in the Day Chapel.  New members are welcome.  Why not join us for fun, faith, friendship, day trips, evening events and adventure camps organised for throughout the year.  More details from Annette, 0860583809.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated in Polish at 2.30pm in the Church of the Assumption on the 4th Sunday of every month. 

The next available Baptism dates are Sun 6th, Sat 19th, Sat 26th  Sept & Sun 4th Oct in Tullamore & Sun 11th  Oct  in Durrow.  The pre-baptism meeting for these dates is on Wed 16 Sept. To book in for the meeting and baptisms, contact the Parish Secretary, at the Parish Office, Mon-Fri, 9.30am-5pm.
Please note that there will be no baptisms on Saturday 15th. August in Tullamore or on Sunday 13th. September in Durrow.


 ROSARY:  The blessing of graves in Durrow Cemetery will take place after the 11.30am Mass on Sunday 13th September..

 PADRE PIO GROUP: Mass Tues 15th. AT 7.30 p.m. in the Church of the Assumption.  All welcome.

S.M.A.:  Annual Mass, Thurs 17th. in the Day Chapel at 7.30 p.m.  All welcome.


Ireland's biggest "Coffee Morning" is the main annual fundraising event to raise much needed funds for local hospice services. All money raised locally stays locally.
