A Prayer for Peace of Mind (by Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini)
Fortify me with the grace of Your Holy Spirit and give Your peace to my soul that I may be
Free from all needless anxiety, solicitude and worry. Help me to desire always that
Which is pleasing and acceptable to You so that Your will may be my will. Amen

The choice we are asked to make in the Marriage Referendum on Friday next is a decision that only the people can make.  The Constitution belongs to the people of Ireland.  As the Referendum Commission states, “a referendum gives Irish citizens the opportunity to make a decision for their country”.  You are encouraged to exercise your democratic right to vote on Friday. See link below for Bishop Smith's full statement.

Congratulations to the children from Scoil Mhuire and Ballinamere N.S. who received the Eucharist for the first time on Sunday, 10th.
May.  We wish God’s blessing on them, their families, friends and teachers and all who helped them on their faith journey to this special time.

This month’s Padre Pio Mass, on Tuesday 12th at 7.30pm, falls on the Vigil of Our Lady of Fatima.  Our Lady came to Fatima in 1917 to call her children to her Immaculate Heart. She asked us to pray the Rosary for peace.  This month’s Mass will conclude with the Rosary and Benediction, during which the parish and our country will be dedicated to Mary's Immaculate Heart.  We will pray especially for the protection of the Family.
