Left:Local Legionaries were happy to welcome​ members of Presentata Curia Dublin who  visited Tullamore on Saturday 19th July  as part of their annual  outing. 
On Monday the 14/07/2014 Mother and daughter, Carol and Lucy from Colombia, Sth. America, Mónica Quintana from Mexico and Noel Lynch from Dublin also visited Alfie Lambe's house.

The residents of Arden Vale organised an outdoor Mass on Sunday last to celebrate the 40th. anniversary of the start of housing development on the site. Enjoy the pictures below and visit our video library to hear from Tullamore Town band who provided excellent music for the celebrations. 


CEMETERY DAYS IN THE PARISH Cemetery Sunday in Clonminch is on 17th August at 1.00pm and in Durrow on 14th September, with blessing of graves after 11.30am Mass. Local gardai have issued a warning to all people attending Cemetery Sunday ceremonies not to leave valuables in cars as statistics show that there is always a sharp increase in thefts from cars on these occasions.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated in Polish at 2.30pm in the Church of the Assumption on the 4th Sunday of every month.

Sacrament of Baptism
The next available Baptism date is on:Sun 7th Sept in Tullamore.  The pre-baptism meeting for this is on Wednesday 20th Aug. To book in for the meeting and baptisms, contact the Parish Secretary, at the Parish Office, Mon-Fri, 9.30am-5pm.

Lough Derg, the Sanctuary of St Patrick, is very much a living part of Irish Christian Heritage.
A unique island, rich in prayer and faith, an island which has been calling pilgrims for over a thousand years, an island to which St Patrick himself was called.
