Launch of the Year Of Vocations

 To launch and celebrate the Year Of Vocation

All Parishioners Priests and Religious from every parish in the Meath Diocese and especially Eucharistic Adoration people, Ministers of the Eucharist, and of the Word, Teachers, Youth groups and all church groups, are invited to a special celebration for the entire Diocese, in St Mary’s Church Navan, on Sunday, May 25th. 2008.

Maybe a bus could be organised

Young people are especially invited.

The purpose of this special afternoon in Navan is:

To launch and celebrate the Year Of Vocation for priests & religious in our Diocese.
To thank God for the great priests and religious in our Diocese
To bless and launch two large candles and two crosses that will travel to every parish in our Diocese, for a period of time, for this special Year of Vocations.
To launch a Vocations Card for every parishioner and every leaving cert student in our Diocese
To celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi as a Diocese
To celebrate and consolidate the great devotion of Eucharistic Adoration in our Diocese

3.00  Adoration with a guided Holy Hour; Reflections, Meditations, Music Eucharistic Theme . Fr Dwayne Gavin

4.00  Talk on the Eucharist/Vocations. Given by Fr Martin Mulvaney, Vocations Director for Meath Diocese.
4.45 Break

5.00  Concelebrated Mass, chief celebrant Bishop M. Smith.
(Navan Parish Choir will sing at Mass.)

Blessing and launch of Two Diocesan Candles and Two Diocesan Crosses and Vocation Card (one for each leaving cert student and family in Meath)

PS Those who cannot make the Special Celebrations in Navan are asked to consider going to the Corpus Christi Procession In Tullamore.
