HARVEST CELEBRATION

Congratulations to all from our Farming Community who organised our celebration of the Fruits of the Earth last weekend.  Rarely has anything been so well received by Parishioners.  The numbers who stayed on after Mass, and came forward to view the display more closely was exceptionally large, and everybody seemed to be delighted with the event.  There can be no doubt that this will now become an annual event in our calendar.  The most pleasing aspect of the weekend is that it meant so much, not only to farmers but to everybody else as well. Patricia Keegan, Martina Neville, Breda Carroll, Alan Hand and Kevin Wrafter formed the group who organised the whole event.  Well done to them, and thanks to all who responded to their requests for produce and other items for display.
