It is our policy, in so far as possible, to celebrate Community Baptisms.  Baptisms are in Tullamore on the 1st Sunday & 3rd Saturday of the month and in Durrow the 2nd Sunday of the month.
Next pre-Baptism meeting - Wed 29 Dec & Wed 12 Jan - 8.30pm, Parochial House. 
All parents who wish to have their child baptised must attend a meeting.  Contact Parish Secretary for details.

Parish Activities

Welcome Home to all our parishioners who are back for Christmas.  We missed you.

New Year's Day:
Special Mass for World Peace, as requested by Pope John Paul II,  at 12.00noon.  Usual Vigil Masses.

Special Thanks to the Church Environment Group for the lovely decorations and to all those who worked and participated in making our Christmas ceremonies so special.

Feast of the Epiphany is on Thursday 6th Jan. 
Masses are Vigil (Wed) 7.00pm; 7.45am, 10.00am, 1.10pm and 7.30pm. 
Durrow 8.00pm.

Church Gates
will be closed from 11.00am, Monday-Friday, as and from Tuesday 4th Jan.

Lectio Divina
resumes Tuesday 11 at 8.00pm, Parochial House.

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration:
Two reasons for making a commitment to a weekly hour of Adoration:
1 the Year of the Eucharist;
2 the beginning of a new year.

Community Activities

Parish Pilgrimages for 2005:
Following on the great success of the last parish pilgrimage to Fatima in May, another one is being organised for next year. 
It will leave on 11th May and will include the Feast of our Lady of Fatima (13th).  Furthermore, the first parish pilgrimage to San Giovanni & Assisi is also planned for next year, leaving 21st Oct. 
It promises to be a wonderful week, if the success of the monthly Padre Pio Mass is anything to judge by. 
On both pilgrimages the spiritual director will be Fr John Nally, and music will be supplied by Pat Kidney & Joe Rabbitte.  All enquiries to 513409/5200.

Charities and non profit making groups can advertise community events on parish website free of charge.
