 BROWNIE POINTS

The core of Sunday's readings centre around the words of repentance and forgiveness.  If we repent, that is, feel sorry for what we have done, or say to ourselves "I should not have done that", it is a contradictory stance and is of no value unless we ask God forgiveness or pardon for whatever wrong we have committed.

Let us remember also that for God to forgive us, we must also forgive others.

Repentance is good, but there are no "brownie points" without forgiveness.

I aspire to the great and glorious.
Stretch yourself to fulfill all your potential.
Never settle for less than your incredible spirit
can achieve and deserves.
