To enable us to keep up such a high standard, we hope you will be as generous as possible.

BREAD FOR THE JOURNEY

On our journey through life most of us at some stage feel like saying, with Elijah, "Lord, I've had enough" - the mountain of life is too hard to climb!

However, just as the angel gave bread to Elijah and told him to eat so that he had strength to climb the mountain of God, so Jesus in the Gospel tells us that He Himself is our Living Bread for life's journey, given for us that we may arrive home safely to Our Father's House.

It would be good to remember what He tells us at the heart of every Mass - "this is my Body given for you".  He who eats this Bread will never die.
