FIRST COMMUNION
Congratulations to the children from Scoil Bhride, who received the Eucharist for the first time yesterday.
We wish God's blessing on them, their families, friends and teachers and all who helped them on their faith journey to this special time.

LOVE
Love is the heartbeat of humanity towards one another.
The absence of love breeds inhumanity by people towards others.
In 1979 in Ballybrit, Galway, we heard the most simple and yet
the most powerful statement by a great leader, that is still fresh in our minds (when we are reminded) and that is when Pope John Paul II
said to the young people of Ireland: "I love you"
In today's Gospel (St John) Jesus says to the people:
"Love one another just as I have loved you."
Remember, to love God we must also love one another.
