excellent career opportunities and almost full employment, isn’t it amazing that so many
of us appear to be disgruntled with life?  Pope Benedict has said that often the greatest
poverty in today’s world is the absence of God in people’s lives.

Let us pray that we may find consolation in the words of today’s Psalm:
‘The Lord is close to the broken hearted; those whose spirit is crushed he will save,....
and rescue them in their distress.’.

Thursday 1st is the Feast of All Saints.  Masses are as follows: Vigil (Wed)7.30pm;
7.45am, 10.00am, 1.10pm & 7.30pm.  Durrow at 8.00pm.

ALL SOULS - REMEMBERING OUR LOVED ONES
All those who have been bereaved since last November are invited to bring a candle to the Altar during the Offertory Procession at 10.00am and 7.30pm Masses on Friday 2nd.  This candle will then be lit and placed at the Altar in remembrance of their loved ones. (Please bring a candle with you).

All Masses offered on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd, as well as all First Friday Masses, will be offered for all those on the Lists of the Dead.
