LOVED INTO NEW LIFE
Resurrection is our destiny!

We all hope that our destiny is heaven and we all carry this longing in our hearts.
One of the strongest Old Testament witnesses to the Resurrection after death
comes from the sons of a Jewish mother saying;
‘The King of the world will raise us up to live again for ever’, (2 Mac 7:9).
 And we hear Jesus’ words saying that, ‘the dead do rise to life’, (Lk 20:35)

Death is God’s way of giving life and of loving us unto new life in Him.

The Risen life is a ‘spiritual’ resurrection in which we share in the life and love of God.

As long as we are alive, today is the only day that matters, as we allow the Lord,
‘to rule our hearts in the love of God’, (2 Thess 3:5)
so that each day we live a life of loving and being loved.

May we grow more and more content in the belief that the God who made us,
will bring us and those we love, safely home to Heaven.

Hatred paralyses life; love releases it.
Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it.
Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.

Martin Luther King
