Wrap me in Your loving arms when I feel insecure. Hold me in Your
steady embrace when I feel nervous. Help me to understand the

FOOTSTEPS THROUGH LENT

Following on from the Longest Night event in December, each Friday during Lent the parish will focus on the sad reality of  suicide and the challenges to our mental health.  At the 7:30 p.m. Mass, for the season, there will be an inspirational speaker who will share their personal experience in this area. The theme FOOTPRINTS comes from the popular reflection that reminds us that Christ carries us in our darkest moments, and that as a community we share in caring for one another.

JOB SEEKING SKILLS

Tullamore job club are hosting a 3 week job seeking skills course. This free course runs from February 18th. to March 8th. - Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day. The course will look at C.V.'s, Cover letters, Application forms, Interview preparation, including a mock interview, information about employment support and employment rights and lots more. The course also includes a free manual handling module. You do not have to be in receipt of a Social Welfare payment to attend, but you do have to be over 18. People currently on Jobpath cannot take part. Participants will also receive an allowance of €60 at the end of the course. SAINT CATHERINE'S WINDOW APPEAL AUCTION

Church of Ireland, Tullamore will hold an auction in support of St. Catherine's Window Appeal on Sunday, March 24th. at 12:00 noon in RR Projects at Unit 56, Axis Business Park, Clara Road, Tullamore. Any items, new or second-hand, of good quality and value which they would be able to sell would be appreciated.

MORE ABOUT THE BIBLE

Are you interested in learning more about the Bible? A series of talks on 'Reading the Bible' will be held on a weekly basis during the Season of Lent.  The venue will be the Parish Centre, and the time will be after 10:00 a.m. Mass each Tuesday of Lent.  If you are interested in attending, please leave your name in the Sacristy after Mass, or at Reception in the Parish Centre.

WOMENS' WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 
Womens' World Day of Prayer, Friday 1st. March, will be celebrated at 8:00 p.m. In Tullamore Presbyterian Church, High Street. World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by christian women who welcome you to join in prayer and action for peace and justice. This year's service "Come - everything is ready" has been written by christian women in Slovenia. Everyone is welcome; men women and children. Supper will be served after the service.

The charismatic prayer group has moved to Parish Centre, our 'Life in the Spirit' will continue  every Wed. at 7:45 pm. All welcome.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated in Polish at 2.30pm in the Church of the Assumption on the 4th Sunday of every month.
