New Fitness Zone at Lloyd Town Park

Tullamore Lions Club was founded in 1978. This year is the club's 40th. anniversary and the current members decided to do something special to mark the occasion. Having considered many options the club finally decided to install a "Fitness Zone" in the town park. This is intended to be a free facility for all who use the park and a "Thank You" to the people of Tullamore for 40 years of support for all the Lions Club's fund raising activities.

The project was carried out with the permission and support of Offaly County Council, Tullamore Municipal District and Offaly Local Development Company. The Fitness Zone (or Outdoor Gym) was officially opened in a short ceremony on Thursday 12th. July 2018. You can see some photos below or <Click Here> for video footage.
