WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY

January 18 - 25, 2018 is the annual observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity gives Christians an annual opportunity to continue their quest for the unity they already share in Christ. The theme chosen for 2018 is “Your Right Hand, O Lord, Glorious in Power” (Exodus 15:6). Throughout 2018, join Christians everywhere in praying “that they may all be one” joining our prayer with that of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Christian Unity prayer service will be in the Presbyterian Church, High Street, today (21st. Jan.)  at 6.30pm. All are welcome.

200th ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH  OF ANDREW MULLEN

On Sunday last, Bishop Denis Nulty (Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin) celebrated Mass in Daingean to commemorate the 200th. anniversaryt of the death of Father Andrew Mullen. Afterwards he lead prayers and blessed Father Mullen's grave in Kiladerry graveyard, Daingean. <<Click Here>> for some photographs.

MINDFUL COMPASSION FOR WELLBEING

This practical positive psychology course will run over three evenings starting at the end of this month. The facilitators (Imelda Ferguson and Julie Flaherty) say the course aims to help people build self compassion skills. It will be held in Mucklagh Community Centre starting on 29th. January. TULLAMORE MUSICAL SOCIETY

Tullamore Musical Society will stage "Sister Act" with an award winning cast in Tullamore G.A.A. Centre from Saturday, February 10th. to Saturday, February 17th. 2018. The first two shows (10th. & 11th) will start at the earlier time of 6.30 pm. to facilitate family attendance.
