Lord, you granted me the great gift of freedom.
In these times, O Lord, grant that I may be free
From any form of racism or intolerance.
Remind me, Lord, that we are all equal in Your Loving eyes.. Amen

LENT
Ash Wednesday falls on February 10th.  Next week we will publish the full list of Lenten activities in the parish. It is no harm to start thinking about what you can do this Lent.  Penance is an important aspect of our faith. The basic rule of penance is 'it shouldn't hurt, but it should be felt.'  Penance can take place in three ways; prayer, fasting and giving alms.  Pick something concrete, decide to do it and tell no one!
