Noel attended Scoil Bhride and Tullamore College after which he trained as a mechanic.  After a number of years working in Hewlett Packard, he began his studies for the priesthood in St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth.  He was ordained deacon, the last step towards priesthood, in May and since then has been based in Navan Parish. The ceremony of Ordination takes place at 3.00pm on Sunday 6th.  The celebrant of the Mass will be Most Rev Bishop Michael Smith, Bishop of Meath.  Noel will offer his First Mass of Thanksgiving on Monday December 7th at 6.30pm, the Vigil Mass of the feast of the Immaculate Conception.  A combined choir will provide the music for the Ordination Mass.  Music for the First Mass is provided by the Le Cheile choir.  All are very welcome to attend both ceremonies.  The First Mass will be followed by a parish reception in St. Mary’s Youth Centre.
