SUICIDE PREVENTION 
An ecumenical service of rememberance and hope will be held as part of WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY at the Church Of The Assumption on Wed. 10th. Sept. at 7.30pm with the aim of creating awareness of suicide prevention and supporting the bereaved by suicide and giving a message of hope. Refreshments afterwards - All welcome. More
LEGION OF MARY 
There will be a public Rosary in Alfie Lambe's house, Arden Road, Tullamore on Sat. 13th. Sept. at 8.15pm. Also, there are meetings every Tuesday at 7.00pm. New members are always welcome.
DURROW SCHOOL 
The Parents Association of Durrow School will hold a coffee morning & cake sale in the hall beside Durrow Church on Sunday 14th Sept after the blessing of the graves.  All contributions would be very welcome.

J - UNIT  
Calling young people from 6th class to 6th year.  J. Unit recommences on Sun 7th Sept from 7pm to 8pm in the Day Chapel.  All welcome.

NEW ALPHA BEGINS SOON
Would you like to explore what it means to "encounter Jesus"?
You can explore similar questions through the Alpha course which resumes in the Day Chapel at the Church of the Assumption starting at 8.00pm on Monday 8th. Sept.

PARISH PILGRIMAGES 
1. MEATH PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES SEPT 12-17 The Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from Sept 12-17 and will be led by Bishop Smith.  The fare is €709 for full board and inclusive of insurance and travel taxes.  To book contact Pilgrimages Abroad Ltd tel 01 6359300.  Places are also available for sick pilgrims requiring special assistance to book contact Ann 087 7914828.  In recent years many young people (18+) have travelled to Lourdes with the diocese seeking to find out more about this famous Shrine: to lend a hand to the pilgrims who are sick or infirmed, to look for some prayer space in busy lives and still to have a good time!  Cost €350. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is celebrated in Polish at 2.30pm in the Church of the Assumption on the 4th Sunday of every month.

Sacrament of Baptism
The next available Baptism date is on: Sat 20th, Sat 27th Sept& Sun 5th Oct. in Tullamore; Sun 12th Oct in Durrow.  The pre-baptism meeting for this is on Wednesday 17th Sept.
