2008 Mission

 2008 Mission

From September 29th to October 3rd there will be a Mission in Tullamore, coinciding with the feast of the Little Flower.  It will be conducted by the St Patrick's Missionary team, a group of young men and women who have devoted themselves to share their faith and hopefully help us all to live our lives to the full, reflecting the goodness of God.

A Mission is a time for a parish to start again, a time of renewal and discovery of God.  It is for all ages, young and old.  Invite your family and friends to come along, particularly those who have given up on faith and life.  This Mission will help us all to see that life is worth living, and remind us that we are made in the image and likeness of God who loves us.  It could be the invitation that someone is desperately looking to receive.

From Monday to Thursday, the early Mass for the Mission has been changed from 7.45 to 7.00am to facilitate students and workers and there will also be Mass at 10.00am and a mission talk followed by Benediction at 7.30pm.  It promises to be great few days.
